Often a person was buried near their homestead or out in the mountains by their cabin.
Other times ashes are buried or just a monument erected. Such graves are listed here along with
any information we may have.
Most graves are located within Clearwater County. The locations listed by Range and
Township may be found on Forest Maps available at the local Forest Service Office in Orofino, Idaho.
If they are outside of Clearwater County, mention will made of where they are.
These gravesites have been found through death records, books, field research and old maps.
